At the heart of our 黑料老司机-centric curriculum are “learning pods”: custom-made study rooms, where 黑料老司机s meet daily to watch pre-recorded lecture videos.
All pods include:
- A widescreen TV, for watching content
- Whiteboard and glass walls, for note-taking or anatomical diagramming
- Portable charging 鈥渂locks鈥�, whiteboard markers, and other relevant materials

Early-on Clinical Experiences
Before a 黑料老司机’s clinical years, they can participate in:
- Graded OSCEs (objective structured clinical examinations)
- Administering services at local health fairs
- Providing care (under faculty supervision) to underserved populations at the United Way鈥檚 Volunteer Care Clinic in Provo
- Offering comprehensive health screenings to Provo elementary-aged children through Noorda-COM鈥檚 鈥�Kaufusi鈥檚 Keikis鈥� health outreach program
High-Tech Campus
Study the osteopathic philosophy in our brand-new building, featuring a customizable OMM lab, natural light study spaces, a Simulation Center, and many other educational enhancements. Once enrolled, you’ll enjoy technology integrated into your curriculum with our handheld ultrasound class and (outside of rotations) practice your clinical skills with task trainers, professional actors, and life-sized patient simulators.
Frequent Research Opportunities
You’ll start engaging in research projects during your first year! Over the next few years, you’ll receive聽experience in literature reviews, research methodologies, data collection, data analysis, and lab work; technical writing, abstract creation, grant writing, and research presentation.聽
